Achieved nearly $1 million in retail sales, representing two of the music industry's most prestigious brands: Steinway & Sons and Roland.

Trained in product expertise and marketing to the affluent at the Steinway factory and headquarters in New York City.

Planned marketing events and promotions; assisted in piano appraisals and pricing; coordinated consignment and trade deals.

MUSIC EDUCATOR

Independent, Guest Artist & Charter School

1994 - Current

Worked with more than 1,000 students ranging from age 3 to 80, providing individual & group lessons and classroom instruction in piano, music history, theory & composition and music technology.

Guided students through successful completion of more than 100 exams in the prestigious Royal Conservatory Certificate Program, with more than 20 earning top scores in the state of Wisconsin.

Trained students who have been accepted into top music schools and/or received music scholarships to Indiana University, Northwestern University, Belmont University and more.

Invited to present workshops to music teachers by the Music Teacher’s National Association (online webinar to more than 900 participants- 2016), the WMTA (State Conference- 2017) and the Chippewa Valley Music Teachers Association (2020).

Mozart’s Gym Music School
2010 - Current

Created an innovative music school based on athlete-training concepts applied to musician development, with studios located in multiple sport facilities in the Milwaukee suburbs.

Led a team of teaching artists in diverse instrument areas, mentoring and training several young teachers at the start of their professional careers in musician development.

Awarded the distinction of Founding School of the RCM Music Development Program (currently known as the Royal Conservatory Certificate Program).

Developed engaging social/competitive programs to encourage student motivation and development through the Mozart’s Gym House Cup, a semester-long team and individual tournament where students are rewarded for their preparation, attention, effort and attitude, and the MusicSport skill and theory competition.
